The Shuffle Demons

The world famous, Glenn Miller Orchestra, is the most popular and sought after big band in the world today playing to sold out audience around the world. A Brockville audience will be treated to one of their are Canadian performances.

With its unique jazz sound, the Glenn Miller Orchestra is considered to be one of the greatest bands of all time. Now under the direction of trombonist Larry O’Brien, this version of the Miller orchestra faithfully re-create some of Miller’s vintage World War II hits and also play other material in the Miller style. The 17-piece orchestra includes four trumpets, five trombones, five saxophones, and a piano-bass-drums rhythm section and two vocalists accurately duplicating the Miller band’s instrumentation and style.

You can expect to hear Glenn Miller’s hits from the golden age of swing and big band music including Tuxedo Junction, Moonlight Serenade, Perfidia, Jukebox, Saturday Night, and Miller’s theme In the Mood.
