The free concert at Tait's Bakery on King Street has traditionally opened the 1000 Islands Jazz Festival. The festival continues to feature Canada’s finest and young rising jazz artists in an intimate setting. 

Seventeen year old, Jenna Glatt is a versatile and gifted musician who has already gained widespread public and media recognition for her outstanding vocal talent. She has performed four times at the Ottawa International Jazz Festival as well as last year at WestFest, the Toronto Jazz Festival, and on the Discovery Channel in Los Angeles. Jenna has opened for well-known performers including Michael Kaeshammer and has earned numerous accolades, awards, trophies, and scholarships for her musical talents.

Jenna released her debut CD in 2009. Her musical styles and influences are diverse and include jazz, pop, R&B, musical theatre, and classical. She will perform at Tait's with her jazz trio.
